OXSCAN 14K

Prasad developed, in association with DFT, Oxscan 14K to service the large-format film industry but also to be the first film scanner to offer a true 14K scan for 35mm film negatives.  The intent is for a “scan once” option to capture all the data for long-term archival storage, downloading to a 2K or 4K proxy for current usage. You can rest assured that your content will be secure without having to rescan the original negative each time there is a bump up in consumer delivery.  8K distribution is on the horizon as 4K is now the prevalent format.

SCANITY HDR 4K

Scanity is known as the top archival film scanner. This technology scans 8mm/super8, 16mm, and 35mm film to 2K and 4K resolutions utilizing an optical reader, optimal for an aging film.
